Fundraising

Members of SI Sunderland are very keen to give their time and efforts to support our projects. We do this by volunteering to help out at a wide range of events, and fundraising is just one of the many ways we get involved. We do this by :

• holding table top sales and car boot sales
• holding charity auctions of unwanted gifts/items
• organising raffles and selling tickets
• collecting loose change over the year (1p, 2p, 5p)
• cooking meals at member’s homes and making donations to charity
• carol singing at a local residential home
• providing support at the Sunderland Christmas Shopping Night for the elderly
• helping to prepare meals for the homeless
